Custom Hand Made Native American Style Indian Flutes selected with the finest Bamboo and timbers. All flutes can be tuned in a minor pentatonic or major pentatonic. Flutes can be tuned to concert A440hz or A432hz on request. All flutes are treated with a natural safe Tung Oil and heat treated to ensure they will be strong and durable. Red or Black bindings are available on request and can add strength to prevent cracking or spliting. The Bamboo Sax

 

Our Custom Hand Made Bamboo Sax is selected from the finest Bamboo and timbers. All bamboo sax's are tuned in a major diatonic scale. The bamboo sax can be tuned to concert A440hz , A432hz or 528hz on request. All bamboo sax's are treated with a natural safe Tung Oil and heat treated to ensure they will be strong and durable. Red or Black bindings are available on request and can add strength to prevent cracking or spliting. All bamboo sax's come with a protective carry bag, extra reed, finger chart and instructions on how to start playing.

The Drone Flute

Drone flutes were traditionally a central American instrument made from clay, but were also known in Ancient Egyptian and Russian cultures. Many indigenous traditions including Celtic, middle eastern and Australian aboriginal used a 'drone' note as the basis of their music, creating a multi-layered sound that has a haunting, ethereal effect.

The variables in producing a quality drone flute that 'hits the heart' are many, and I am ever expanding my creative horizons in producing drones of different harmonies, tunings and effects. The standard drones are the most popular and the easiest to play, and come with a straight note on one side and a standard NAF six hole minor pentatonic fingering on the other. Yes, they can be played as a normal flute as I create an offset mouthpiece that allows this.

The all new design  Bamboo sax is now made with a cork neck to replace the mouthpiece if broken, for cleaning, or fine tuning by sliding it in or out by small increments .  If ordering for a gift, a personalised engraving is available for a fee on request.
